Old fashioned but in a very good way. A house with a soul and it’s own style. Very friendly and professional staff. The room was a bit small but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is tough for Northern Europeans ;) but the view from the breakfast room is really rewarding. Loved everything about our stay and would love to come back one day.
Waited 20 years to come to Cortona. This hotel is in the perfect place to be at when you visit this small Tuscan country town. The views are exactly what you are looking for…. Be aware the city tax and taxi services only take cash. Rooms were clean and the HVAC works great. Literally walking distance to everything.
Great location, outstanding Customer service.
We stumbled across this hotel purely by co incidence . Only intended to stay 1 night but extended to a whole 7 nights, as it was so good. Located at end of one of main streets but not where it could suffer from any noise . Outstanding views from dining room and reception relax area. Parking available not too far away.

We would like especially to thank Mariona one of the night managers, who helped us calmly when we desperately called for somewhere to stay the night , then booked us in once we arrived .He was most friendly and welcoming every night we came back to the hotel. Gave us great advice about the area and other towns and villages . A wonderful kind person who we will never forget 😊
Perfect location and amazing views. The staff are incredibly kind as well, including the cleaners. Would recommend this as the de facto hotel for Cortona.
Unfortunately though, the rooms are small and the air conditioning just barely cools.
